Luke was a 3 Time High School State Champion for Mountain Crest High, He then went on to wrestle for the University of Iowa as a Hawk Eye. 2010-11 -- All-American, placing fifth at his first NCAA Championships... Big Ten runner-up at 197 pounds... posted a 25-7 record, going 13-2 in duals and 7-0 in Big Ten duals... scored 52 team points in dual competition... went 7-1 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena... recorded eight major decisions, which led team, two pins and one technical fall... placed seventh at Midlands Championships... named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week Feb. 22 after his 7-4 win over Minnesota's Sonny Yohn helped the Hawkeyes win their fourth-straight Big Ten regular season title...
