Freestyle is a faster paced wrestling, with an emphasis on neutral or on your feet wrestling. the rules are slightly different than Folk-Style, but the principals are the same,

Freestyle and Greco competes by Weight classes but also by age
Freestyle (Greco) is wrestled with two 3 minute rounds
10 point Technical Fall to win a match (Tech-Fall is when you get 10 points ahead of your opponent)
One High Amplitude throw will win the match(A throw where your opponents feet go directly over his head or a "suplex" )
Pin/Fall is a touch fall so if at any time Both shoulders touch the mat its a pin/fall
Back exposure - if at any time your back breaks 90 degrees to the mat it is 2 points
If a take down is awarded the top wrestler has 15-30 seconds to score back exposure, if he does not the wrestlers will be returned to their feet (neutral) by the referee
Wrestlers may lock their hands around their opponents body at anytime during the match, this includes down on the mat
